Hydro-entangled Fabric
Madaline uses state-of-the-art patented bico technology with unique filament designs that are sheared and subjected to high pressure water jets to simultaneously fibrillate and entangle and consolidate the microfilaments.
Madaline uses state-of-the-art patented bico technology with unique filament designs that are sheared and subjected to high pressure water jets to simultaneously fibrillate and entangle and consolidate the microfilaments.
Madaline® uses a patented bico technology of polyester (PET) / polyamide (PA) for producing continuous filaments with multiple fiber geometries .Microfilaments are up to 100 times thinner than a human hair which is the key to Madaline's unique properties. Good mechanical characteristics result in a fabric that will not lose its shape or uniformity, even after heavy use and multiple wash cycles. Unlike staple fibers, endless microfilaments ensure strength and dimensional stability. Unlike staple fibers, Madaline®’s microfilaments are endless, making the fabric almost lint-free.
The new product, Madaline®, fills the gap in nonwoven technologies to be used in textiles applications. Madaline is destined to be a trend setter which can be treated like a traditional textile, having similar touch and drape and the capability to be stitched without fraying. In addition to its similarity to woven fabrics, Madaline also possesses superb filtration and barrier properties.
Madaline can be produced in total 300 cm width and can be slitted as per requested.weight range is 80-240 gr/sqm. Madaline process compared to conventional textiles is very fast and continuous.Approx. process time from melt of polymer to winding of fabric is realized almost in 3 minutes.Using features of manufacturing 4.0 technology process is managed by computerised control systems enabling higher production yield and efficiencies and fabric Quality is monitored by camera inspections systems.
